Sometimes I want to root for the little guy. Sometime I can't.
This CD managed to make it into my disc changer in my car for over two weeks. Sometimes when a CD hangs around that long, I will begin to find somethine redeeming about it. This one I didn't, but therre may a HUGE reason for my pessimism. The reason being I can't stand Blues Traveler and this one IS Blues Traveler.
The similarities would cause me to lose out on the final Rock N Roll Jeopardy question. I would blow it all as I screamed out "who is Blues Traveler"
Hailing from the coffee house scene in New York City, this four piece debuted the CD at Wetlands (a club which once refused to let me in)
Supposedly John Popper from Blues Traveler was there and so were some of the Alman Brothers. Wow, what a party! The buffet table must have been licked clean.
If you like Blues Traveler, you will LOVE this CD. If you HATE Blues Traveler, then please proceed on to the next review.

Grade: C- (for lack of imagination and sounding like Blues Traveler)
